Tiamo Lodge: Getting There

You need to get to Mangrove Cay or Congo Town Airport on South Andros Island.

They are only a short, enjoyable 60 minute flight from US Shores and a 20 minute hop from Nassau, the capital city of The Bahamas. Here are a few travel options:

From Fort Lauderdale, Florida

If you want to avoid Nassau (and typically save a day of travel), fly to Fort Lauderdale and use a private charter service to fly directly to South Andros Island (MYAK), where you can clear customs and immigration. This 60-minute journey takes you across the Gulf Stream and over the brilliant azure waters of the Bahamas. Or, we recommend booking with Lynx Air online at www.lynxair.com . Lynx Air now flies direct to our island four times a week from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (Terminal Four, lower level). Flight time to South Andros Island is about one hour.
