Kamalame Cay - Andros Island, Bahamas
Kamalame Cay is an all-inclusive private island resort located near Staniard Creek off the Northeast coast of Andros Island in The Bahamas. A visit to Kamalame Cay puts you in the center of the best diving, snorkeling, fishing, and seclusion that a private
Caribbean island vacation affords. It is a lovely beachfront resort with flats that begin only a shell's throw away from most windows. The food and accommodations are terrific, and the friendly island atmosphere is the perfect compliment to a fishing holiday.
Kamalame Cay is a 20-minute drive from the Andros Town Airport, which is serviced by charter or scheduled service from Nassau, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. You may also be adventurous and charter a seaplane and taxi right up to the Kamalame dock. Contact
us for details.
Kamalame Cay features Caribbean cuisine, beautiful beaches, a freshwater pool cut neatly into the Silver Palms that embrace the island, and some of the best fishing and diving found anywhere.

Andros Island is home to world-class bonefishing and Kamalame is fortunate to be able to offer two distinct fisheries. There is abundant water with excellent bonefishing right on the backside of the Cay as well as in the nearby creeks and flats stretching
all the way to Majestic Point. They also offer access to the Joulter Cays with their seemingly endless wadeable flats and large schools of tailing bonefish. The Joulters lie at the north end of Andros
(a shrot drive from Kamalame). Andros is renowned for having the largest bonefish in the Bahamas. Fish averaging a solid 4 pounds to many in the 9-plus pound class are encountered while even larger bones work the edges of the flats. There is an honest
opportunity to see and (hopefully!) catch bonefish weighing in the double digit category -- a thrill for any fisherman.
