ISLA HOLBOX
AN ISLAND SURROUNDED BY TARPON

getting there

One of the many attributes of fishing Isla Holbox is the ease of getting there from the US.

Almost every major city has non-stop or one-stop service to Cancun, Mexico. One needs to get there from home. Then the transfer service will meet anglers at the terminal and drive them to Chiquila. From there it is a short boat ride to Isla Holbox where the golf-cart taxi will meet them and take them to the lodge. It is about a three hour trip from airport to the lodge.

One needs to arrive Cancun before 2:00PM to be transferred to the lodge on the same day. If that is not possible, you will need to arrive the day before your arrival date and the transfer agent will pick you up at your hotel. No problema.

For your departure from Cancun, schedule your flight for after noon to give you enough time to get to the airport on time.
