The lodge was founded by the Gonzales family in the 60’s and has been in the family since building a reputation as a destination with superb fishing, beautiful location, wonderful meals and out-of-this-world Margaritas.

The original owners and family still manage and staff the lodge. Guests stay in very comfortable, clean and airconditioned beach-front cabanas. Wireless internet and phone service is available in every room. Each cabana is just steps away from the Caribbean Sea and on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in the Mexican Yucatan. One can choose to sleep by controlled air conditioning or opening up the screened window to let the sea breezes in to provide a cool over-night sleep listening to the ocean waves on the beach. All of the water used for cooking, ice and for drinking water furnished in the rooms is purified. Bottled water is available if you prefer it for drinking.

All rooms have private bathrooms with hot and cold water, have daily maid service and air-conditioning.
There is space for 18 guests at one time making it one of the best places in that part of the world to host a family, group or business gathering to enjoy the flats fishing as well as non fishing activities. Non-anglers can enjoy, sea kayaks, beach hiking, snorkeling, nature tours, Mayan tours, Kite surfing,. Some of these activities require an additional fee to the package price. The meals and drinks are found in the main lodge area within easy walking distance of the cabanas. It, too, is air conditioned and keeps a cool atmosphere inside. Or, if you prefer outside air and sounds, there is a large outside area to relax, visit and sip a cool drink. A tab is kept at the bar to be settled at the end of your stay.
