Andros South Lodge is open from October through May, preferring to close during the summer months.

Their whole season is prime time on the flats with exception of the few cold fronts that can creep in during winter. And even then, it would have to be a severe storm that would knock this lodge out of fishing. They keep their boats moored at Little Creek for quick access to sheltered waters and flats to the west where even in poor conditions, one can find plenty of fish to cast to. This lodge is filled most of its open days from repeat guests. They enjoy the relaxed, casual atmosphere of the lodge and the great fishing in the creeks, on the west side (home of monster bones and some big tarpon) and in the flats wilderness of the island’s south end. There are flats there that don’t see anglers for years at a time.
