That is exactly what you get when you charter one of Belize River Lodge's live-on-aboard vessels. Nothing compares to being right on the fishing, with unlimited mobility. Picture you and your friends living on a private yacht for a week, with chef, captain and guides, exploring the vast flats, lagoons and rivers of Belize.

Your fishing day is from sun-up to sundown. Maximizing you time on the water in search of bonefish, permit and tarpon, your guide will literally navigate his skiff back to the mothership by the stars.

In addition to the fishing program, you'll have the unique opportunity to explore Belize by water, the way 17th century pirates did while hiding from English and Spanish war ships.

With hundreds of miles of coastline to explore, you'll be amazed by the country's environmental diversity and fragile connection between land and sea. You'll swim and snorkel Caribbean waters within the confines of the second largest barrier reef in the world. Considered to be one of the top three dive destinations in the world, Belize's waters are diverse and teaming with marine wildlife.

The key word to the entire live-on-aboard program is flexibility. By having the yacht exclusive to your party you call the shots. Timing of meals and activities are solely up to you. There is no better way to go fishing anywhere, anytime.

Belize River Lodge offers three uniquely different live on aboard vessels to choose from. Each vessel offers something special, and is priced to fit any budget.

M.V. "Cristiana" A luxurious 58' Hatteras Yacht Fisherman. This vessel is the queen of the fleet and the ultimate in comfort and mobility. Nothing has been spared on this lovely lady, she comes fully rigged, and is staffed by a world-class crew. Capacity: 6 guests.

M.V. "Blue Yonder" Just out of dry dock and completely renovated in 1997, this 52' Chris Craft is very comfortable and spacious. Featuring all the amenities you would expect in a world-class yacht, she's perfect for a group of friends or family. Capacity: 6 guests.

Species of Fish:  Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon, Snook, Jack Crevalle, and Barracuda.

Lodging:  Your private yacht comes complete with air conditioning, private state rooms an berths, full baths, flats fishing skiffs used to access the fishing grounds and English speaking guides. You'll be treated like kings, and dine on such delicacies as conch and lobster picked fresh from the sea, as well as key lime pie, fresh baked bread, fresh vegetables and fruit, meats, all prepared by your private chef.

Travel Arrangements:  Belize City, the country's capitol, is easily reached by flights from Houston, Miami, and New Orleans. The modern, new airport is serviced by daily flights on American Airlines, Continental Airlines, TACA, and SAHSA. Upon arrival into Belize City, you'll clear immigrations and customs. A lodge representative will transfer you to the vessel.

Length of Stay:  This will vary, depending on which of the wonderful packages you have chosen. There are no set arrival and departure days.

Season:  Year 'round.

Occupancy:  Belize River Lodge Vessels vary in size and occupancy. (2 - 6 anglers).

Non-Inclusions:  Airfare to & from Belize, fishing equipment tackle, alcoholic beverages, gratuities to crew, Belize departure tax (approximately US$35.00 per person – included in tickt or paid at Airport)

Deposit:  A 50 percent deposit is due to secure a reservation.
