Day 4: Quesnel River
Day 5: Mitchell River – Jet boat for transportation but all wade fishing.

  • Breakfast @ 7:00 am
  • Departure for fishing day 8:00 am
  • Fishing by 9:00 am
  • Back at the lodge for cocktails @ 6:00 pm
  • Dinner @ 7:00 to 7:30 pm

Non fishers we will generally get a couple days of scenic tours of the area.
Each morning guests are awakened by a nock on the door and a home cooked breakfast is served in the lodge at 7:00 a.m. which allows a fairly early morning start on the day’s fishing.

Depending on what fishery you are going to your day might start with w short drive in a vehicle to a put-sight for a float, a jet boat ride up Quesnel Lake or a longer drive to a still water or other moving water fishery. Regardless, there is not a lot of wasted time or motion time getting to and from the fishing waters at Northern Lights Lodge and you can expect full days with your guide.
Lunch sites are situated on the best runs of the river and usually consist of sandwiches, chips, homemade cookies, water, sodas and fresh fruit.

You can expect to be back to the lodge sometime between around 6:00 p.m. with plenty of time to take a shower, have a cocktail, enjoy some tasty appetizers before dinner is served at approximately 7:30 p.m. Complimentary wine and beer is served with dinner.

After dinner guests can tie flies, play horseshoes, take a walk, enjoy the campfire or play cards. Anglers are welcome to fish after dinner on their own at one of the home water beats. You can literally fish from dawn until dark or as long as their energy level and enthusiasm will last and fishermen are encouraged to enjoy as much angling as possible.
