Reservations and Rates

We’ve organized, arranged, and guided, outfitted and hosted anglers on trips to Canada for better than three decades.

Many of us choose to take our personal busman’s holiday in British Columbia, chasing monster, wild steelhead on one of the provinces famous rivers, like the Bulkley, Kispiox, or Dean. That knowledge and field experience has been invaluable in helping our clients choose the best dates, and has added a more custom-tailored finish to each of our reservations.

We keep in regular contact with all of our Canadian outfitters and we have near instant access to the lodge calendar and space available. Advance reservations are strongly recommended and can be made as far as two, even three years in advance.

Please call, toll free at 800-669-3474 or shoot us an email at travel@theflyshop.com if you'd like to discuss particulars, choose from available dates, make your reservations, or talk more about the Dave and Maureen Harrington’s Euchiniko Lake Ranch. We have intimate familiarity and experience that can help you select the best times and provide you with complete and up-to-date information. Of course, we'll recommend the flies and tackle you’ll need and they're all available for you to order by phone, or on-line.

When to make your travel Plans to Western, Canada:

The lodges and outfitters that we choose to work with in Western Canada are small, owner/operated, and many of them are family-run businesses. Their guest capacity is purposely small in order to deliver exceptional personal service. Our lodges’ limited capacity, as small as six and no larger than ten, results in space becoming tight, especially during the high-demand months of July - October. Therefore, if you are serious about booking a trip to Canada it is important to secure dates at the conclusion of the current season; best in October and November. That is not to say that prime space isn’t available later in the year, but if you are set and going and want to secure pick-of-the-litter dates – book early!

After a verbal confirmation of your reservation you'll receive a short confirmation letter or e-message showing the dates of your stay, terms of the reservation and an invoice showing the cost of the trip. A 50% deposit is normally due within two weeks of deposit. Final payments are due from 60 to 90 days prior to arrival. Deposits and final payments can be made with either a credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover) check, or wire transfer.

Rates
Euchiniko Lake Ranch Pricing for the 2011 Season
5 nights/4 days (Mon to Sat) $3,665.00 USD per person

$3,965.00 USD per week

Included in Package:
Round trip auto transfer from Prince George to lodge and all lodge accommodations as well as all meals (with wine at dinner). Also included are daily guided fishing, 6% Canadian GST (Goods & Service Tax) taxes, use of boats, motors, rafts, and atvs.

Not included in package prices:
Non-resident angling licenses are not included in the price of your trip (though licenses can be purchased at the lodge). Flies, liquor (a limited selection of flies are available on-site along with beer and wine, however, hard liquor must be purchased prior to arrival at lodge), gratuities, items of personal nature, international airfares and flight between Vancouver and Prince George.

Cancellations and Refunds:
All deposits and payments are non-refundable.
Our Western Canadian lodges are small, the season is short, and the angler capacity is very limited. The non-refundable lodge cancellation policy is an industry standard. However, The Fly Shop will make every effort to help locate a replacement angler should a cancellation be necessary. Finding a replacement for a South American trip on short notice can be very difficult and, at times, impossible.

Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance can provide a means of recourse against non-refundable financial losses and warrants your careful review and consideration. Please click to read The Fly Shop’s observations and thoughts on Trip Cancellation Insurance as well as Medical Evacuation Coverage.
