| Neuquén &
Rio Negro Provinces of Argentina, Patagonia: Reservations and Rates
We were traveling in, fishing and exploring Argentina,
Patagonia before it was cool.
Collectively, The Fly Shop’s travel
staff has been fishing the waters in the Provinces of Neuquén
& Rio Negro for nearly seventy years. We’ve organized,
arranged, guided and hosted anglers on trips to Argentina, Patagonia
for better than two decades. That knowledge and field experience
has been invaluable in helping our clients choose the best dates,
and has added a more custom-tailored finish to each of our reservations.
We keep in regular contact with Chimehuin
Safaris and have near instant access to the Estancia’s calendars
and space available. Advance reservations are strongly recommended
and can be made as far as two, even three years in advance. If you
are interested in fishing one of the great estancias of Patagonia
Argentina, we strongly suggest that you make your travel plans well
in advance.
Please call, toll free at 800-669-3474 or
shoot us an email at travel@theflyshop.com
if you'd like to discuss particulars, choose from available dates,
make your reservations, or talk more about the fisheries.
We have intimate familiarity and experience that can help you select
the best times and provide you with complete and up-to-date information.
Of course, we'll recommend the flies and tackle you’ll need
and they're all available for you to order by phone, or on-line.
When to make your travel Plans to Argentina, Patagonia:
The lodges and outfitters that we work with
in Argentina, Patagonia, are small, owner/operated, and many of
them are family-run businesses. Their guest capacity is purposely
small in order to deliver exceptional personal service. Our lodges’
limited capacity, as small as six and no larger than ten, results
in space becoming tight, especially during the high-demand months
of January, February and March. Therefore, if you are serious about
booking a trip to Argentina it is important to secure dates at the
conclusion of the current season; best in April, May or June. That
is not to say that prime space isn’t available later in the
year, but if you are set and going and want to secure pick-of-the-litter
dates – book early!
After a verbal confirmation of your reservation
you'll receive a short confirmation letter or e-message showing
the dates of your stay, terms of the reservation and an invoice
showing the cost of the trip. A 50% deposit is normally due within
two weeks of deposit. Final payments are due 60 days prior to arrival.
Deposits and final payments can be made with either a credit card
(Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover) check, or wire transfer.
Estancia Services Inclusions:
Chimehuin Safaris' Estancia services include lodging in double
occupancy rooms with private baths, all food with wine, beer and
soft drinks, land transportation, float trips, camping gear, and
guiding service (one guide per two fishermen).
Estancia Services Non inclusions:
Not included are bar drinks (spirits), laundry, tips, personal
items, and fishing licenses ($10 USD per day).
Cancellations and Refunds:
All deposits and payments are non-refundable.
Our Argentina, Patagonia lodges are small, the season is short,
and the angler capacity is very limited. The non-refundable lodge
cancellation policy is an industry standard. However, The Fly Shop
will make every effort to help locate a replacement angler should
a cancellation be necessary. Finding a replacement for a South American
trip on short notice can be very difficult and, at times, impossible.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance can provide a means of recourse against non-refundable
financial losses and warrants your careful review and consideration.
