Reels: Ross Vexsis and Cimmaron, Sage 4500 Series, Galvan Torque, and The Fly Shop’s S4La reels

Lines: Rio Gold Floater, Rio 15’ Density Compensated Type 3 Sinking Tip

Leaders: 7 1⁄2’ tapered leaders of choice, tapering to 0X and 2X, with tippet spools to match. Some anglers/guides prefer to use 4-6 feet of Maxima Chameleon tippet in lieu of a tapered leader – if this is you, bring spools of 6, 8, 10 and 12 pound material.
