Rainbow Trout , Dolly Varden, King Salmon, Coho Salmon and Grayling –

Rods: 9 to 9 1⁄2 foot models, in 6 wt and 7 wt size range. For king salmon, 9 or 10 wt rods are best. Favorites include Winston Bllx, Sage Z-Axis, and The Fly Shop H2O rods
Reels: Ross Vexsis and Cimmaron, Sage 4500 Series, Galvan Torque, and The Fly Shop’s S4La reels

Lines: Rio Gold Floater, Rio 15’ Density Compensated Type 3 Sinking Tip. For king salmon, consider a Rio 24’ Density Compensated 250 grain line

Leaders: 7 1⁄2’ tapered leaders of choice, tapering to 0X and 2X, with tippet spools to match. Some anglers/guides prefer to use 4-6 feet of Maxima Chameleon tippet in lieu of a tapered leader – if this is you, bring spools of 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 pound material
