Royal Wolf Lodge
Nonvianuk River, Katmai National Park
Southwest Alaska

R o y a l   W o l f   L o d g e   i s  one of very few pieces of privately owned property within Katmai National Park. Situated on the untamed, wild and scenic Nonvianuk River, the lodge has a spectacular trout fishery only a stone's throw from their cabin doors. Royal Wolf is a unique combination of talent, location and equipment that sets the standard in Alaskan lodges.

Superb regional Rainbow Trout fisheries are daily targets for Royal Wolf pilots, guides, and guests using specialized, float-equipped aircraft capable of short take-offs and landings. That translates to an added margin of safety as well as exclusive access to some streams that conventional floatplanes find impossible.

Chris and Linda Branham know the lodge trade. Chris has been in the Alaska lodge business since 1966, when he first learned to fly at the

age of 18. His family opened one of the first lodges in Alaska right after World War II.

2004 was the 10th anniversary of Royal Wolf Lodge and it has just gotten better. With a personal guide for every 2-3 guests and some of the most experienced guides in Alaska...you will catch fish.

Royal Wolf has added a complete spa house this year with a full time massage therapist and a Finnish sauna to help work those kinks out after a long day of bringing in fish. Their award-winning chefs from Seattle will assure you of superb dining experiences.

Species of Fish:  Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Pink Salmon, Coho Salmon, Dolly Varden, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike, and Lake Trout.

Lodging:  Anglers at Royal Wolf Lodge are accommodated in comfortable, well appointed cabins, each with its own private bathroom. There is a warm and comfortable great room with sofas - the perfect gathering spot after angling activities. Or, after a long day on the water, step out onto the deck overlooking the home water and enjoy the spectacular views. It is not unusual to see moose, bear and caribou from this deck, and loons will serenade you almost every evening. At Royal Wolf Lodge, no detail has been spared to create the ultimate remote wilderness experience.
