R a p i d s   C a m p   L o d g e   i s  a beautiful log lodge and accepts only fourteen guests at a time. Each of the bedrooms has it's own bath and, more important to the angler, it is located within casting distance of the Naknek River.

Rapids Camp operation provides two float equipped DeHavilland Beavers that are at your constant disposal. The talented pilots and guides have instructions to bring you home tired of catching fish. There are jet boats on the Naknek River, and a half dozen jet equipped sleds on other rivers in the immediate area. The fishing in this region is simply outstanding! You can expect to catch trophy Rainbow, Grayling and Dolly Varden, plus depending on the specific week, all five species of Pacific Salmon.

Rapids Camp Lodge provides the utmost in services and professionalism. Mouth-watering gourmet meals are prepared by a


world class chef and dietary needs may be accommodated with prior notice. If you still have energy after a day's fishing, nightly activities include horseshoes, volleyball, cards or fly tying. You may also soothe tired muscles in the jacuzzi. The choice is yours. The staff will go to extremes to make sure you have a grand experience the entire time.

Species of Fish:  Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Pink Salmon, Coho Salmon, Dolly Varden, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike, and Lake Trout.

Lodging:  Guests at Rapids Camp Lodge are accommodated in very comfortable cabins, each with their own private bathroom. The main lodge itself is spacious, with a large great room overlooking the Naknek River - a perfect location for hors'deuvres and fish stories after a day on the stream. The lodge has an open bar, which remains well stocked throughout the season. Jerry Shults, your owner/host, has spared no expense in making this lodge as guest friendly as is humanly possible!

Travel Arrangements:  You need to catch one of the several daily flights from Anchorage to King Salmon, where the lodge will pick you up.

Length of Stay:  Turnaround days are Fridays. Shorter than one week stays can sometimes be arranged, on request.

Season:  June through early October.

Occupancy:  Rapids Camp Lodge can accommodate up to 14 anglers.

Rates:  
•  A 7-night/6-day (Friday to Friday) full fly out package (6 fly outs) is $6,795 per angler, based on double occupancy and shared guide per two anglers.

•  A 4-night/3.5-day 3 1/2 fly outs package is $4,395 per angler, based on double occupancy and shared guide per two anglers.

•  A 3-night/2.5-day 2 fly outs package is $3,295 per angler, based on double occupancy and shared guide per two anglers.

•  A 7-night/6-day trip with two flyouts and fours days fishing the local Naknek River out of jet boats is $5,200 per angler, based on double occupancy and one guide per every two anglers (Only available to larger groups of 6-8 or more anglers).

Inclusions:  The rate includes: Transport to and from the King Salmon Airport to the lodge, daily flyouts (dependent on the package chosen), all guide service including jet boats, flyfishing lessons, all meals, soft drinks and alcohol. As well, the lodge has an unbelievalbe complete supply of top quality Simms waders and Sage rod outfits for their clients use.

Non-Inclusions:  This rate does not include: Air fare from Anchorage, fishing license (available for purchase at the lodge), or staff gratuities.

Deposit:  A 50 percent deposit is due to secure a reservation.
