Lodging at Rainbow King Lodge

Rainbow King Lodge has long enjoyed a reputation as one of the premiere lodges in the Iliamna Lake area.

Able to accommodate 30 anglers at a time, they normally keep it to 24 or less, allowing for private rooms where desired, and a more personalized experience. The rooms are comfortable, and all look out onto a beautifully manicured lawn and flower garden common grounds. A boardwalk system connects all rooms to the dining facility, as well as the newer “great room”; this stand alone facility right on the shores of Lake Iliamna allows weary anglers to rejuvenate after a hard days fishing with a cold drink, delicious appetizers, big screen television and plate glass windows offering an unobstructed view of the surrounding wilderness. Breakfasts and dinners are cooked to order, and lunches are typically taken in the field, sometimes in the form of a hot shore lunch, cooked streamside.
