Bill Sims' Newhalen Lodge
Headwaters of Newhalen River, Lake Clark
Southwestern Alaska

N e w h a l e n   L o d g e   i s   c u s t o m - t a i l o r e d  for the serious fly fisherman. They have five aircraft for the exclusive use of a dozen guests at this famous Lake Clark lodge, and the pilots and guides monitor hundreds of miles of streams, flying clients to the best water each morning. The planes stay with the fishermen all day, and if the fishing is slow, or the anglers tire of the location, it is not unusual to cover several streams before returning to the comfortable log lodge. This is a level of service seldom equaled by other Alaska lodges and is perfect for hard-core anglers unwilling to settle for second best.

The lodge location is within easy striking distance of coastal salmon streams, and both the Togiak and Iliamna drainages. In the worst of weather, one of the state's top Rainbow streams is a short boat ride from the doorstep. Newhalen Lodge has more than two dozen boats on terrific streams and rivers in the Bristol Bay Watershed.
