Some species flood into the camps local stream fisheries, while others are accessed off the river mouths in the bay itself, using fast sinking lines and streamer patterns.
After your day's adventure, return to the peaceful comfort of spacious cabin tents and relaxing bunks, and enjoy a hot shower. The daily meals are of the hearty sourdough variety, and are a real highlight here; fresh-baked bread, local seafood (including halibut, salmon, crab, shrimp and clams), fine wines and desserts still warm from their Dutch oven. You won't be losing any weight during your stay here! Species of Fish: Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Dolly Varden, Halibut and Rock Bass. Lodging: Accommodations are warm, comfortable cabin-style tents with hard doors and wood floors. Each cabin/tent is set up for two anglers and includes heaters, sleeping cots, blankets and foam mattresses. Alaskan hospitality abounds, and great home-cooked food is prepared with care. There are showers, and privy rest rooms at the camp. Travel Arrangements: Anglers arrive and overnight in Sitka on the day preceding their arrival at the camp, leaving for the camp early the next morning. Departure from camp to Sitka is as per scheduled day, and typically allows enough time to connect back home, if desired. Length of Stay: Varies depending on package chosen. Season: Late June through Late August. Occupancy: Baranof Kelp Camp is able to host 8 anglers.

Also includes all municipal rents, user fees and sales taxes. Non-Inclusions: This rate does not include: Personal gear, fly fishing tackle, sleeping bag, gratuities, fishing license, or liquor other than wine with meals.
