Alaska West: Getting There

Plan on flying into Bethel on Alaska Air Flight #43, departing Anchorage at about 11:53am., arriving Bethel at about 1:08pm. (Please note: We do not advise booking Flt #41. If you book this flight there will be a layover in Bethel until approximately 2:45pm, as the lodge is not able to accommodate early arrivals into camp.)

Upon arrival in Bethel, you will be met at the Alaska Airlines terminal by a representative from Grant Aviation (they’ll be standing there with a Grant Aviation sign – introduce yourself!). They will help with your bags, and transfer you the very short distance to their terminal. If you need to reach them, their number is 907-543-2000. You do not need to make this reservation – Alaska West will have already done so. You WILL need to pay for the flight upon arrival, though – it is $210 total, for the roundtrip flight. They'll then fly you out to the village of Quinhagak, departing Bethel early afternoon (approximately 2:45pm, arriving about 45 minutes later. Upon arrival in Quinhagak you will be met by several camp representatives, who will transfer you and your luggage to awaiting jet boats and take you the approximate 20 minutes upriver to the Camp.

For the next week you'll be fishing in one of the most beautiful and pristine regions of Alaska.
